Dr Jürgen Amann is leaving visitBerlin
- End of the collaboration by mutual agreement
Berlin, 14 September 2026 Berlin Tourismus & Kongress GmbH and its former co-managing director, Dr Jürgen Amann, are to go their separate ways. The company’s supervisory board approved a termination agreement to this effect on Monday.
The agreement states: “The past few months have shown that our views on the strategic direction and future development of the company do not align sufficiently. We have therefore agreed, by mutual consent, to bring our collaboration to an end. We would like to thank Dr Amann for the excellent and close collaboration and wish him all the best for his professional and personal future.”
Dr Amann had succeeded the long-serving managing director Burkhard Kieker on 1 June 2026 and had since led the company alongside co-managing director Sabine Wendt.
