Hotels with meeting venues and special restaurants
New Hotels in Berlin
Berlin, 30 January 2015 Eight new hotels are opening in Berlin in 2015. In Mitte and the City West alone, there will be five new hotels with over 1,300 new rooms. This ensures that Berlin continues to have the most modern inventory of hotel rooms in Europe. The new houses are increasingly putting the focus on attractive fitness facilities and spas with hammam and fine restaurants and bars. The range of meeting and conference spaces also continues to increase. Visitors to Germany’s capital can now choose from 135,000 rooms offered in 794 establishments across the city, ranging from budget accommodations to the highest-end luxury segment.
Hotel Projects in Mitte
Luxury in all respects: 208 new five-star rooms and suites are opening in March 2015 at the Titanic Deluxe Berlin on Gendarmenmarkt. The hotel will also house the Beef Grill Club by Hasir, the Titanic Wellness & Spa with hammam and fitness centre, and a modern conference area.
In summer 2015, the Amano Group will be opening its third hotel in the city and its largest yet with the Amano Grand Central, directly opposite Berlin’s main railway station. 250 rooms and modern conference rooms are planned. Highlights include a fitness centre overlooking the government district and a rooftop terrace with sky bar.
In October 2015, the conference hotel Titanic Business Berlin will open on Chausseestraße in Mitte. It will include 389 modern rooms and suites, an à la carte restaurant, and a health club with swimming pool. There will also be a ballroom and 15 meeting rooms with the latest audio-visual equipment.
Grimm’s Potsdamer Platz will celebrate its opening in May 2015. It will feature 110 rooms, decorated with details from fairy tales such as rose wallpaper reminiscent of Sleeping Beauty’s slumber. A restaurant with the fairy-tale name “Tischlein deck dich” (“The Wishing Table”) is also planned.
News from the City West
The City West will see the Hotel Riu Plaza Berlin open its doors in 2015. Just 250 metres from KaDeWe, the Spanish hotel will offer 357 guest rooms and six conference rooms for events, meetings, and conventions.
