First week of UEFA EURO 2024 in Berlin

Berlin, 21 June 2024 A strong first EURO2024 week in Berlin: several hundred thousand Berliners and national and international guests have visited the Fan Zones at the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag building over the past few days. Football fans cheered on their teams at public viewings in front of the world's largest football goal and in the Football Village on Platz der Republik - and outside of match times, the Fan Zones delighted a wide audience with DJ performances, open-air cinema evenings, sporting events, workshops and talks.

The second match of UEFA EURO 2024, Poland v Austria, will take place tonight in Berlin's Olympic Stadium. At the same time, more than 250 larger and smaller stages throughout the city will be hosting the Fête de la Musique to celebrate the start of summer with music.
