Berlin, 15 March 2011 - Berlin is the only Germany city to have been chosen as one of the Top Five family-friendly cities in Europe. For the first time, Tripadvisor, the world's largest travel website, has presented this year the Travellers' Choice Award for the best family vacation. The rankings were announced last weekend: the German capital ranks fourth behind Florence, Edinburgh and London.

In the European ranking Berlin was able to convince, more particularly, with its parks, sights and the manifold recreational offerings. From the Zoo to the huge indoor playground Legoland many family-friendly attractions guarantee diversity and fun for the entire family 365 days a year. The Berlin Marriott Hotel on Potsdamer Platz square was elected most popular family hotel of the German capital. The 5-star property scored with its first-class comfort and central location.
