Berlin – the place to be! Congress destination from A-Z
Berlin, 30 May 2011 With more than 40 locations and almost 50 hotels the new Meeting Guide 2011/2012 provides an overview of the top addresses for event planners in Berlin – Europe's most popular convention city. Published by the visitBerlin Berlin Convention Office (BCO), the current issue discloses all relevant information for the organisation of meetings, conventions or events in the German capital.
On around 150 pages organisers are offered by the Meeting Guide 2011/2012 not only a compact overview of the wide range of meeting rooms, exhibition spaces and room sizes but also, in addition to extraordinary venues, the most recent, still unknown locations in the city.
A new discovery is, for instance, "Adlershof con.vent" with its event rooms in the heart of the science and technology park Adlershof. This reflects the significance of Berlin as a scientific location – also for meetings and conventions.
For the first time the "Moskau" presents itself as a special location. Situated downtown on the former boulevard of the East German Berlin it is this year's venue for the B2B talks during the Meeting Place Berlin.
In the current Meeting Guide you will also find an exclusive preview of further hotel openings in 2011 and 2012. These include, amongst others, the design boutique hotel "Stue" or the "Waldorf Astoria" – the first newly built hotel of the luxury brand in Europe, which will open their doors for extraordinary events in a prestigious setting.
With major topics such as "Green Meetings" and the most important tips for a stay in Berlin, the Meeting Guide is an indispensable planning aid: the event overview, including the highlights for the year, an alphabetic overview with all data of contact partners and not least the map in which all locations and hotels are identified, supplement the detailed presentations of the individual destinations and hotels.
The Meeting Guide 2011/2012 is published in German and English. It can be obtained as a high quality print copy or online on www.convention.visitberlin.de.
The homepage also offers, as a novelty, the possibility of leafing virtually through the Meeting Guide. Readers will find a detailed overview of all hotels and event locations listed in the Meeting Guide 2011/2012 here.
