Berlin reacts in a flexible manner to the closure of airspace

Berlin, 16 April 2010 Berlin Tourismus Marketing has reacted to the current exceptional air travel situation. Visitors who are affected can obtain arrival and departure information in the five Berlin infostores. They can also book hotel rooms there or ask for further information. The latest information can be accessed around the clock on the hotline 030 – 25 00 25 and on the Internet on www.visitBerlin.de.

Burkard Kieker, CEO of Berlin Tourismus Marketing GmbH comments, “We are doing everything we can to be a good host even in this exceptional situation and I am sure that together we will prevail. Some hotels are already offering additional nights at special rates.”
