Enjoy Berlin’s culinary diversity – in the restaurant or on the go
Premiere for gourmets: In 2012 individual restaurants of the visitBerlin partner hotels will participate for the first time as rebate partners and grant guests with Berlin WelcomeCards 25% discount. And for between-meals, well-known fast food chains and gastro brands offer 25% off their snacks in the outlets at Zoologischer Garten, Friedrichstrasse, Alexanderplatz as well as in Hauptbahnhof or Ostbahnhof.
Novelty: City map for the pocket
The practical removable city map allows for rapid orientation in the city. The tour proposals target those who are for the first time in the German capital, Berlin insiders, families, history lovers, cultural aficionados or environmentally aware visitors. Moreover, the absolute savings can be found in the multi-lingual guide.
Jubilee Special: Prussian castles in Berlin and Brandenburg
On the occasion of the major jubilee year celebrating the 300th anniversary of Frederick the Great, the Prussian castles and grounds in Berlin and Brandenburg are covered on several special pages. Users of the Berlin WelcomeCard receive rebates both for the entrance ticket to the large special exhibition “Friederisiko – Frederick the Great” which will start on 28 April 2012 and for buying a premium day ticket to visit Castle Sanssouci.
