New Meeting Guide of the Berlin Convention Office hot of the press

Convention City Berlin: diverse and user-friendly

Berlin, 26 May 2010 In time for IMEX the Berlin Convention Office (BCO) of Berlin Tourismus Marketing GmbH has published its new Meeting Guide. This 150-page planning guide contains all the essential information needed by convention and event organisers when it comes to selecting Berlin as their event venue.

More than 90 hotels and unusual locations are featured in the latest 2010/2011 issue. Together, they boast some 400 meeting rooms offering total exhibition space of just under 220,000 square metres. They can cater for around 59,000 participants. For the very first time, this latest edition contains details of hotels that are both under construction and in the pipeline.

Other topics in the Meeting Guide are eco-friendly Berlin and the German capital as a major science location. In 2010 this science location is attracting global interest as institutions like Humboldt University and the Charité have come together to celebrate a big year of science. More than 1,000 events are to be staged.

Moreover, the latest Meeting Guide contains an overview of all the partners and services of the Berlin Convention Office. The contact details of the US office that opened in March and the new office in the United Kingdom are also listed in the Guide.

The Meeting Guide Berlin 2010/2011 is published in German and English. It can be accessed on the following link:
