Premiere: visitBerlin presents local products at Grüne Woche
- Hall 21b: "Crafted in Berlin" showcases the culinary side of the capital

Berlin, 14 January 2026 From 16 to 25 January, Grüne Woche Berlin will celebrate its 100th anniversary. What began in 1926 as a regional agricultural exhibition is now the world's leading trade fair for food, agriculture and horticulture. "Grüne Woche is younger and greener than ever and has been a magnet for visitors since its first edition 100 years ago," says Burkhard Kicker, CEO of visitBerlin.
visitBerlin is represented at Grüne Woche for the first time and is using the anniversary to showcase the capital's culinary diversity: with the "Crafted in Berlin" initiative, Berlin's destination marketing and management organisation is putting the spotlight on local manufacturers from the city's districts. Sabine Wendt, CEO of visitBerlin: "At the visitBerlin stand, we invite you to experience the special offers of 'Crafted in Berlin'. Together with our partners from five Berlin districts, we are showing how diverse and creative the local manufacturers are.

Berlin at Grüne Woche
The Berlin stand in Hall 21b, organised by the Senate Department for Justice and Consumer Protection, brings together around 75 Berlin exhibitors this year, ranging from culinary delights to innovation. For the first time, the Berlin TV Tower is part of the trade fair presentation, including a programme item by Michelin-starred chef Tim Raue on 21 January, who will present his new currywurst creation and the new menu of the TV Tower restaurant. A special attraction will be BRYX Berlin's world record attempt with the largest free-standing building block model of the Berlin TV Tower. Other Berlin players include Mampe, the capital's oldest spirits brand, as well as Berlin breweries, manufacturers and start-ups. Here, innovative Berlin companies from the food industry will be presenting themselves, from the production of sugar-free cakes and desserts to the production of plant-based proteins from mushrooms. In addition, Berlin's food strategy will be presented with its own stand and a separate pop-up restaurant, which will serve as a temporary meeting and tasting place where visitors can experience Berlin food companies and their products at set tables. The presentation will be complemented by Berlin specialities ranging from chocolate and espresso from Berlin's largest espresso machine to handmade ice cream in the shape of the TV tower. The Berlin Hall is supported by the Senate Department for Justice and Consumer Protection and the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises.
