In 2016, we again attended the ITB Asia in Singapore specifically to promote Berlin in the Asian markets. At this trade show, which goes from strength to strength every year, we joined forces with partners from aviation, the Deutsche Bahn and the Maritim Hotels. As in previous visits to the ITB Asia, we recorded a growing interest in Berlin as a destination for congresses and incentives. The potential business partners for Berlin at this show were primarily MICE customers from the Pacific Rim countries. At face-to-face meetings with them, many concrete projects over the coming years were discussed.
