Berlin Get-Togehter at the Biennale in Venice
Berlin/Venice, April 2024 A get-together for Berlin's art: In Venice, visitBerlin drew attention to Berlin's art and culture scene and the 20th anniversary of Gallery Weekend Berlin.
What a pleasure to see you all at our “Berlin Breakfast” in the ‘In Paradiso’ art gallery and restaurant on the occasion of the opening of the 60th Venice Biennale (Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere). Hosted by visitBerlin and @Arts of the Working Class we were happy to welcome so many cultural professionals and press representatives from Berlin and around the world. Thank you to everybody who joined us on the rooftop terrace at the Giardini della Biennale especially the directors of Berlin’s Brücke Museum, Haus am Waldsee, and Gallery Weekend Berlin who introduced us to their programming.
Our goals
- Inform about upcoming cultural highlights in Berlin
- Meet protagonists of Berlin's cultural scene, including members of the Brücke Museum, Haus am Waldsee and Gallery Weekend Berlin
- Inspiring the world for Berlin and showcasing the city's creative diversity
A special highlight was an exclusive edition by artist Nicolás Monti (from Berlin's sister city Buenos Aires): He completed the Berlin Breakfast with non-smoker friendly ceramic cigarettes especially produced for our guests.
A big thank you to all the guests from Berlin and around the world, cultural professionals, media, artists and museums who participated in this inspiring breakfast! Many thanks also to Deutsche Spirituosen Manufaktur for the delicious goodies!
Still being charmed by the wonderful atmosphere and the inspiring conversations we would like to continue to foster similar encounters. So please keep in touch and let us know your next cultural events and assignments. Maybe you also need support reporting on Berlin’s cultural highlights or have an idea where to meet next. Amongst our professional travel destinations will be Berlin’s sister cities Seoul, Tokyo, Jakarta and also destinations in the Americas.
