With the city-wide programme to mark the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, we have reached out to the hearts and minds of the people. We celebrated, held discussions and remembered together how valuable freedom and democracy are today."

Elaborate video projections, concerts, readings and much more brought the events of 30 years ago back to life. In the run-up to events visitBerlin promoted the festival week worldwide and participated in the programme with the art project "Berlin Handshape" and the third "Q Berlin" conference.
