Warm-up for the final in Berlin: The German capital is hosting a big fan festival on Sunday
Berlin, 11 July 2024 On Sunday, the football world will be looking to the German capital: after two thrilling semi-finals, Spain and England have their tickets for Berlin in the bag. On Tuesday and Wednesday, tens of thousands watched the matches in the two Fan Zones and got Berlin in the mood for the grand final on Sunday evening, when the two top teams will play for the title in the Olympic Stadium.
Berlin is expecting many thousands of English and Spanish fans for the weekend. Berlin and the city's Visitor Economy are looking forward to welcoming many international guests and to a great atmosphere in the Olympic Stadium, in the Fan Zones and throughout the city. Since Monday, visitBerlin has been running a new social media campaign inviting people to travel to Berlin for the UEFA EURO grand final at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday. The story and feed ads are being played out in the four countries that reached the semi-finals: England, France, the Netherlands and Spain. Since 11 July, there has been increased advertising for spontaneous visits to Berlin in Spain and England.
