Interview with Roy J. Noack, CEO Immanuel Hospital
In our series, we present partners in our Berlin Health Excellence initiative, their specialities and their work in the medical tourism sector. Today: Roy J. Noack, CEO Immanuel Hospital.
As part of the Berlin Health Excellence network, we see ourselves as participating in further measures and [..] planning more activities to expand international contacts and attract new patients.
In which areas does Immanuel Hospital deal with international patients and the persons accompanying them? And how are you personally involved?
The Immanuel Hospital offers two locations for inpatient treatment – one in Wannsee, in the southwest of the city, and the other in Buch, to the north-east of Berlin – as well as an outpatient clinic in Berlin’s Zehlendorf district with rheumatology and naturopathy departments, two of the largest specialist departments in Germany. The services in internal medicine are complemented by rheumatoid orthopaedics with a certified endoprosthesis centre as well as specialised surgery for hands, elbows and shoulders. As CEO, I am responsible for the organisational framework, coordinating with our senior physicians, describing processes and providing quotations.
What particular services does Immanuel Hospital offer international patients and their accompanying persons?
With Professor Andreas Michalsen for naturopathy and Professor Andreas Krause for rheumatology we have two specialists with national and international reputations in their areas. In our inpatient and outpatient services, we not only provide our patients with excellent medical, nursing and therapeutic care, but with our comfort rooms and private practice also offer an especially pleasant atmosphere. Moreover, we have a strong tradition of interdisciplinary cooperation across all our departments, ensuring holistic patient care with easy access to the various experts in their field.
Are you planning new measures in the Medical Tourism sector? Can you share your vision with us?
As part of the Berlin Health Excellence network, we see ourselves as participating in further measures and, together with the other clinics in the Immanuel Diakonie institution – the Brandenburg Heart Centre Immanuel Hospital Bernau and the Immanuel Rüdersdorf Clinic –, planning more activities to expand international contacts and attract new patients.
