Every year, key players in the tourism sector, partner hotels and cultural partners are invited to the visitBerlin@ event. This partner event showcases the latest visitBerlin projects and activities, and presents the figures on the development of tourism in Berlin and the estimates for the future. Afterwards at an informal get-together, the focus is on exchanging views and experience, with various networking tools used to encourage participants to develop dialogues and discussions.

The visitBerlin speed networking event is held twice a year. Partner hotels as well as partners in the tourism and cultural sectors are invited to these speed business meetings. With this round robin model, all participants have a chance to meet individually on a one-to-one basis. In four-minute talks, they introduce themselves, exchange views and identify possible areas of cooperation. Conversations started during the speed networking session can then be continued at the get-together afterwards.

The Berlin MICE Summit is the leading fair for the Berlin meetings and conventions industry. The Summit, held every two years, is an open, creative forum encouraging dialogue. Inspired by the Open Space format, there are no formal presentations and the event evolves through its focus on the concerns of the participants.

In 2016, under the motto of Berlin: Fit for the future – Strong in competition, those taking part generated a wide range of innovative ideas. The aim is to work on these spheres of action with the participants proposing the topics and the pertinent actors. The visitBerlin Berlin Convention Office will then inform participants at regular intervals of the findings and the next steps.

Site inspections for our partners

Our site inspections provide our cooperation partners and Berlin WelcomeCard sales partners with a chance to find out about the services offered by our BWC discount partners. On our site inspections, you meet discount partners and learn about their range of services at first hand, and have the chance to network with other service providers in the tourism sector.

Several site inspections are again planned for 2017. Since group size is limited, we would ask only employees from our cooperation and sales partners to apply to join these site inspections.
Registrations are binding. If you should be unable to participate on the date you have registered for, let us know well in advance. Please note that if you register for a site inspection and do not turn up without informing us beforehand, we would be unable to include you in future site inspections.
